In Inserm laboratories and at Magendie in particular, here are the measures that the director of the facility must implement in the context of health and safety at work:
The centre's internal rules of procedure stipulate that the Director is advised by prevention assistants appointed by the Inserm regional delegation in conjunction with the Universitu of Bordeaux. The prevention assistants meet within a Prevention and Safety Committee, which is made up of staff representing each research team and platform. This is the reference body for all health and safety issues.
The committee's role is to ensure that safety instructions are put in place and complied with. It plays an advisory role on a day-to-day basis, working closely with all the Centre's staff. Don't hesitate to contact your prevention assistants! Magendie's Prevention and Safety Committee meets twice a month under the auspices of the Centre's General Secretary, and liaises with the supervisory authorities and their representatives.
Comprising 20 prevention assistants, the committee was set up in 2012. It coordinates recurring operations:

For those interested in a little regulatory diversions:
Inserm is subject to both the obligations set out in Part 4 ‘Health and Safety at Work’ of the French Labour Code and the specific provisions of Decree 82 - 453 as amended relating to health, safety and medical prevention in the civil service.
Since 2016, Inserm has had a general instruction for health and safety at work which describes the obligations and missions of the various players.
In this context, under the terms of article 2 - 1 of decree 82 - 453 as amended, ‘department heads’ are responsible, within the limits of their remit and within the framework of the delegations granted to them, for ensuring the safety and health protection of the staff under their authority. In laboratories, unit directors are considered to be heads of department.
