The Protein Biochemistry and Biophysics platform of the Bordeaux Neurocampus Federation (BioProt) brings together the essential equipment for protein biochemistry and is specialised in the production and purification of proteins and the analysis of biomolecular interactions. It offers various services in these fields to the Bordeaux Neurocampus teams and to private companies, including advice on setting up and optimising protocols. The platform also provides users with high-performance equipment in terms of centrifugation and analysis techniques.
The platform is located on the first floor, rooms 100 and 101, of the François Magendie Institute. The platform provides 65m2 divided into 4 rooms containing centrifuges, analytical equipment and protein production and purification equipment.
